Elizabeth I shilling (judging by the size of the coin remaining after clipping) and the fact that no rose is present behind the bust. Inner circle on the ob is beaded. The shilling is of the sixth issue and the bust is type 6b as the very faint outline of the ear can sill be seen on the bust. Ob legend would have read as ELIZAB D G ANG FR ET HIB REGI. Rev legend would have read as POSVI DEV ADIVTOREM MEV. North 2014 Date is 1582-1600.

Neolithic, patinated off white flint, leaf shaped arrow head, fashioned from a secondary flake off a beach pebble. It has been bifacially worked with removals to 80% of its surface. The centre of the ventral appears to retain a polished surface. This may be a fortuitous result of some form of flaking, but there are no sign of conchoidal rippling so this is unlikely to be the result of artificial flaking. Probably debitage but possibly a poorly made bladelet or microlith as there is retouch (short, sub-parallel, abrupt) along one mesal. It has been snapped off at the proximal end and the distal terminates in flawed stone. Dates to between c8000 and c3500 BC. The length is 10mm, width 5mm, and the weight is 0.11g.

Mid to late Bronze Age serrated implement, and possible knife/scraper, formed on a tertiary flake of pale honey flint with large cream inclusions. Serrated edges have been formed by short, semi-parallel, abrupt retouch to the distal/mesal edges and the oblique distal end edge. The height of the dorsal ridge has been reduced and the proximal end thinned by invasive, scaled, low-angled retouch. Dates from c1600 to c800 BC. The length is 41mm, width 17mm, thickness 8mm, and the weight is 4.60g.

Cast copper-alloy unidentified object, possibly Roman or medieval in date (c. AD43-1500). The object is heavy and its original outline is heavily obscured by corrosive products its surface. It appears to have a flat hump-shaped body like a brooch, possibly, and a small loop at one end which may be the head. The lug may be pierced, but this is uncertain. With the present evidence, the object can, unfortunately, not be identified.

Cast copper-alloy button-and-loop-fastener dating from the early Roman period, that is c. AD50-150. The button and loop fastener is of the teardrop- or petal-headed type, which is Wild's Class III. Is survives complete but with a very corroded surface and iron corrosion inside the triangular fastening loop. The head is teardrop- or petal-shaped with a raised circular moulding in the centre. The shank is triangular in shape with a circular cross section. Petal- or teardrop-shaped button and loop fasteners were typically not enamelled.

The pin is sitting in a small recess and cannot move around the frame freely. The pin rest on the opposite site looks worn. The brooch is decorated with simple diagonal and horizontal grooves on the obverse; the reverse is plain.

A copper alloy (probably spelter) medal struck to commemorate the golden jubilee of Queen Victoria in 1887. It was originally circular, though now heavily damaged around the circumference. Complete, slightly bent silver bodkin (head-dress pin). The overall shape of the bodkin is an elongated rectangle in plan and sub-rectangular in section, with slightly convex sides and tapers towards a pointed terminal end, the last 25mm of which is bent 90° from the rest of the shaft. The bodkin has two openings, one at the wider end which is circular and 2mm in diameter. The other opening is approximately 10mm further along the shaft and is longitudinal and 12mm long by 2mm wide.
