Copper alloy with blue and white enamel brooch fragment. Cast dragonesque brooch with a body of reverse S form, Mackreth type DRAG 3.ax. The head has an expanded nostril and has perhaps lost something from its top. The body bears a series of five enamelled panels: the ends were pointed and the central panels rectangular, with enamel alternating from one end as dark blue, off-white, lost, off white and dark blue. Cast mount comprising a flat-based plate with higher central part with an integrally cast rivet of 5.5mm square which now projects c.13mm - its tip is lost - from the middle of the back. A pair of loops of length 23mm for the attachment of spur leathers are retained in the terminal; each comprises a rhomboid plate with traces of a rivet of diameter 2.7mm, a projecting pair of stops, and the looped part, which is closed by being bent back on itself. A cylindrical chape made up of stamped copper alloy sheet, dating to the 15th-17th century. The base is a circular disc fitted into the base, 7mm in diameter. The upper edge has V-shaps cut out of it as decoration and is mis-shaped due to post depositional damage. The longitudinal seam is no longer held together by sodler. The decoration is floral with a central row of raised pellets flanked by solid lines, and a similar sequence of pellets and solid lines at the top edge, leaving a blank area of 13mm before the edge. An incomplete copper alloy Late Roman flat-bladed nail-cleaner with varying decoration (Group). Broken at the suspension loop, which is set perpendicuar to the main body of the nail cleaner. Several collars seperate the suspension loop from the body of the implement. The nail cleaner has broad shoulders before tapering down to a blunt point, which is bifurcated by way of a deeply etched vertical line. The face of the nailcleaner is decorated with a border filled with short lines. The inner panel has floral motifs etched into it. The reverse of the nail cleaner is blank and plain.

A post medieval copper alloy thimble dating to the 16th century. The thimble has straight sides with a separate dome at the peak. There are undecorated bands at the base and at just before the dome with a pattern of circular shaped pits spiralling from the lower band to the upper band. The circular pits also cover the dome. There is no evidence of a maker's mark and there is some dark grey discolouration across sections of the thimble. No exact parallels can be found for this object. A medieval copper alloy strap end dating to the 14th century. The object is formed of a single sheet of copper alloy which has been folded widthways. It would have been connected to the strap by two rivets, which are no longer present. The rivet holes have been drilled from one side and are located along the open edge on both sides of the object. One side of the strap end appears to taper from the bend to the opposing edge. The object has some damage and has developed a light-mid green patina.
