An early medieval silver penny of King Eadmund, dating AD 939-946. This coin is of the two line type and was minted in Winchester by Oric. The coin has been broken along one side, but is otherwise in good condition. A parallel for this coin can be found in North (1975, no. 688). Dimensions: diameter: 16.87 mm; weight: 0.51g.
