A complete Medieval silver short cross penny of Henry II (1154-1189), minted by Pieres at London. Class 1b, 1180-1185 (North 1994: 220, ref: 963).
Obverse: hENRICVS·REX; Crowned bust facing with sceptre
Reverse: PIERES·ON·LVNDE; Voided short cross with a quatrefoil in each quadrant
Diameter: 19.8mm. Weight: 1.47g. DA=12:6.

A complete and worn Medieval cast copper-alloy circular uniface coin weight for a quarter noble (1412-1464). Withers & Withers 1995: 34 and 68.
This coin weight is rectangular in cross-section. At the front there is a stamped lis with a crown above (crown is off-set). The rear face is flat and has fine linear striations.
The weight is 23.4 grains and the full weight, according to Withers, should be 27.0 grains.
This weight has an even green patina with small areas of corrosion.
Diameter: 10.9mm; thickness: 2.1mm. Weight: 1.52g. (23.4 grains)
