A post medieval copper alloy thimble dating to the 16th century. The thimble has straight sides with a separate dome at the peak. There are undecorated bands at the base and at just before the dome with a pattern of circular shaped pits spiralling from the lower band to the upper band. The circular pits also cover the dome. There is no evidence of a maker's mark and there is some dark grey discolouration across sections of the thimble. No exact parallels can be found for this object. A post medieval copper alloy trade token of Edward Swallow from Deptford dated AD 1668. The obverse depicts a talbot passant with the inscription EDWARD SWALLOW. The initials E.A.S are on the reverse with the date 1667 below. The inscription reads IN LOER DEPTFORD. There is a mullet initial mark on both sides.
