Cast copper-alloy annular brooch dating from the medieval period, that is the 13th/14th century. The brooch is complete with circular frame and pin. The pin is sitting in a small recess and cannot move around the frame freely. The pin rest on the opposite site looks worn. The brooch is decorated with simple diagonal and horizontal grooves on the obverse; the reverse is plain.

Cast copper-alloy button-and-loop-fastener dating from the early Roman period, that is c. AD50-150. The button and loop fastener is of the teardrop- or petal-headed type, which is Wild's Class III. Is survives complete but with a very corroded surface and iron corrosion inside the triangular fastening loop. The head is teardrop- or petal-shaped with a raised circular moulding in the centre. The shank is triangular in shape with a circular cross section. Petal- or teardrop-shaped button and loop fasteners were typically not enamelled.

Cast copper-alloy unidentified object, possibly Roman or medieval in date (c. AD43-1500). The object is heavy and its original outline is heavily obscured by corrosive products its surface. It appears to have a flat hump-shaped body like a brooch, possibly, and a small loop at one end which may be the head. The lug may be pierced, but this is uncertain. With the present evidence, the object can, unfortunately, not be identified.

Copper alloy coin, probably a sestertius of Marcus Aurelius as Caesar (AD 139-61), dating to AD 148-9 (Reece Period 7), [TR POT III COS II], (VIRTVS in exergue), S C, Roma seated left holding parazonium and vertical spear. Mint of Rome. RIC III, p. 179, cf. no. 1283. The coin is of 29mm in diameter but only weighs 13.96g, so it is possible this is a large dupondius (see RIC III, p. 180, cf. no. 1295).

An early Medieval (11th century) copper alloy strap end: The strap end has an animal head terminal which is visible in profile with an elongated point oval on either side as the eyes, and an open mouth. The body of the strap end is narrowed behind the head and is a elongated trapezoid in plan. Only a short portion of the body is split in profile to allow for the strap to be fitted. The terminals of each plate have a single rivet hole. The surface is heavily abraded and has a red copper corrosion with traces of a dark green patina. Probable Medieval (12th to 15th centuries) trivet or candle holder: The copper alloy stand appears to form a three legged stand, of which only two legs remain. The legs are oval in section which continues upwards to form an arm with a possible zoomorphic terminal. Only one complete arm remains, the other is missing but the break is not too recent. An incomplete cast copper-alloy Medieval annular brooch, dating to between c. 13th-14th centuries AD. The brooch is annular and flat, with a small narrowed notch in the frame, which would have accommodated the pin, now missing. The outer face of the frame is decorated with simple incised lines radiating from the centre hole. It measures 17.43 mm in diameter, 1.41 mm thick and weighs 0.97 grams. The brooch is of an even brown-green patina.

The front face has moulded decoration comprising a central cross surrounded by two concentric bands of rectangular or square shaped motifs. A complete and worn Medieval cast copper-alloy circular uniface coin weight for a quarter noble (1412-1464). Withers & Withers 1995: 34 and 68. This coin weight is rectangular in cross-section. At the front there is a stamped lis with a crown above (crown is off-set). The rear face is flat and has fine linear striations. The wings are met by a broad upper bow with central ridge whose top or crest is lost, flanked by wide flutes with outer ridges, and with knops at its corners. The lower bow is lost. Rim fragment from a late Medieval or Post Medieval cast copper alloy vessel. The thick everted rim is dished with a concave upper side and convex curved lower face. The broad flat top edge is thickened by a triangular sectioned swelling on the inner face. The lower point is just starting to bend back out before the break at the constricted neck where the rim met the body of the vessel. A pair of loops of length 23mm for the attachment of spur leathers are retained in the terminal; each comprises a rhomboid plate with traces of a rivet of diameter 2.7mm, a projecting pair of stops, and the looped part, which is closed by being bent back on itself. A post medieval copper alloy thimble dating to the 16th century. The thimble has straight sides with a separate dome at the peak. There are undecorated bands at the base and at just before the dome with a pattern of circular shaped pits spiralling from the lower band to the upper band. The circular pits also cover the dome. There is no evidence of a maker's mark and there is some dark grey discolouration across sections of the thimble. No exact parallels can be found for this object.
