Copper alloy brooch fragment. Hinged Aesica brooch, Mackreth type AES 4.a. Tubular wings clenched behind retaining an axis bar and a cast pin. The wings are met by a broad upper bow with central ridge whose top or crest is lost, flanked by wide flutes with outer ridges, and with knops at its corners. The lower bow is lost. Suggested date: Early Roman, 100-150. Length: 23mm, Width: 26.2mm, Thickness (crest of bow): 5.1mm, Weight: 6.16gms.

Rim fragment from a late Medieval or Post Medieval cast copper alloy vessel. The thick everted rim is dished with a concave upper side and convex curved lower face. The broad flat top edge is thickened by a triangular sectioned swelling on the inner face. The lower point is just starting to bend back out before the break at the constricted neck where the rim met the body of the vessel. The internal surface is smoother than the outer which has smoothing lines from the clay mould. Both sides are extensively sooted and the breaks are old. Copper alloy spur fragment. Cast figure of eight terminal to a small D section spur side. A pair of loops of length 23mm for the attachment of spur leathers are retained in the terminal; each comprises a rhomboid plate with traces of a rivet of diameter 2.7mm, a projecting pair of stops, and the looped part, which is closed by being bent back on itself. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1600-1700. Length: 43.4mm, Width: 13.1mm, Thickness: 3.6mm, Weight: 6.56gms.

Post Medieval copper alloy double-looped oval buckle with an iron pin and separate strap-plate. The loops form one continuous oval outer frame and the outer sides of the loops are slightly widened. The outer edge is rounded and the inner edge and back flat and plain. The integral strap bar is plain. The iron pin is highly corroded but remains in situ. Cast mount comprising a flat-based plate with higher central part with an integrally cast rivet of 5.5mm square which now projects c.13mm - its tip is lost - from the middle of the back. An heraldic motif comprises a central heater shield flanked by tripartite spigs of foliage. A post medieval copper alloy thimble dating to the 16th century. The thimble has straight sides with a separate dome at the peak. There are undecorated bands at the base and at just before the dome with a pattern of circular shaped pits spiralling from the lower band to the upper band. The circular pits also cover the dome. There is no evidence of a maker's mark and there is some dark grey discolouration across sections of the thimble. No exact parallels can be found for this object. A copper alloy (probably spelter) medal struck to commemorate the golden jubilee of Queen Victoria in 1887. It was originally circular, though now heavily damaged around the circumference. The obverse has a bust of Queen Victoria and would have originally bourne the legend VICTORIA QUEEN AND EMPRESS 1837 JUBILEE 1887. A medieval copper alloy strap end dating to the 14th century. The object is formed of a single sheet of copper alloy which has been folded widthways. It would have been connected to the strap by two rivets, which are no longer present. The rivet holes have been drilled from one side and are located along the open edge on both sides of the object. One side of the strap end appears to taper from the bend to the opposing edge. The object has some damage and has developed a light-mid green patina.
