Copper alloy brooch fragment. Hinged Aesica brooch, Mackreth type AES 4.a. Tubular wings clenched behind retaining an axis bar and a cast pin. The wings are met by a broad upper bow with central ridge whose top or crest is lost, flanked by wide flutes with outer ridges, and with knops at its corners. The lower bow is lost. Suggested date: Early Roman, 100-150. Length: 23mm, Width: 26.2mm, Thickness (crest of bow): 5.1mm, Weight: 6.16gms.

Copper alloy spur fragment. Cast figure of eight terminal to a small D section spur side. A pair of loops of length 23mm for the attachment of spur leathers are retained in the terminal; each comprises a rhomboid plate with traces of a rivet of diameter 2.7mm, a projecting pair of stops, and the looped part, which is closed by being bent back on itself. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1600-1700. Length: 43.4mm, Width: 13.1mm, Thickness: 3.6mm, Weight: 6.56gms.

Copper alloy with gilding and enamel heraldic stud. Cast mount comprising a flat-based plate with higher central part with an integrally cast rivet of 5.5mm square which now projects c.13mm - its tip is lost - from the middle of the back. An heraldic motif comprises a central heater shield flanked by tripartite spigs of foliage. The shield has a red (gules) ground with a central chevron pointing upwards, with either three smaller chevrons or other motifs with pointed tops above and below the larger. Copper alloy and glass fob seal matrix. Oval panel of transparent smoky yellow glass within a pressed metal gilded frame. The glass is engraved with the facing bust of a balding clean shaven man with sideburns wearing a cravatte or similar neckwear with a high collared garment; possibly with a buttoned shirt below. A six character legend in Roman capitals identifies this as BRIGHT, probably referring to Radical campaigner John Bright (1811-1889). Copper alloy with blue and white enamel brooch fragment. Cast dragonesque brooch with a body of reverse S form, Mackreth type DRAG 3.ax. The head has an expanded nostril and has perhaps lost something from its top. The body bears a series of five enamelled panels: the ends were pointed and the central panels rectangular, with enamel alternating from one end as dark blue, off-white, lost, off white and dark blue.
