Rim fragment from a late Medieval or Post Medieval cast copper alloy vessel. The thick everted rim is dished with a concave upper side and convex curved lower face. The broad flat top edge is thickened by a triangular sectioned swelling on the inner face. The lower point is just starting to bend back out before the break at the constricted neck where the rim met the body of the vessel. The internal surface is smoother than the outer which has smoothing lines from the clay mould. Both sides are extensively sooted and the breaks are old. Post Medieval copper alloy double-looped oval buckle with an iron pin and separate strap-plate. The loops form one continuous oval outer frame and the outer sides of the loops are slightly widened. The outer edge is rounded and the inner edge and back flat and plain. The integral strap bar is plain. The iron pin is highly corroded but remains in situ. The strap plate is formed of a thin rectangular strip of copper alloy sheet bent in half around the central bar. Part of an unidentified object, possibly a pin, mount or padlock. The piece has a circular copper alloy head through which runs a corroded iron pin. The slightly convex front of the disc is decorated with incised line: a plain line outer border and a simple, possibly foliate design. The design has a central upright flanked near the base by two pairs of diagonal lines radiating away from it. A post-medieval copper-alloy mount with single integral rivet. The mount is pointed oval in shape. The front is slightly convex and has moulded beading along the edge. At the centre of the mount is one larger pellet, with incised lines emerging from it in saltire. The single attachment spike emerges centrally from the back. A fragment comprising a single support from a cast copper alloy chafing dish of 15th-16th century date and a small part of the dish rim. The support is rectangular in plan with straight sides. In profile it is angled up and out from the rim at 45 degrees with an angled lower side, vertical outer side and an upper side which is angled at first then becomes concave towards the outer edge. At the inner end of the support is a small part of the dish rim which appears to be vertical with a thin raised line running around the inner side.
