Modern iron coin dating from AD1918. In 1918, the Rhineland town of Duren issued ten pfennig notgeld honouring the veterans of World War I. Another, even more common, variety (Funck 105.8) exists without the "SD" under the soldier's chin. Recorded mintage: 501,500 (Funck 105.7) and 1,100,750 (Funck 105.8). Mid to late Bronze Age serrated implement, and possible knife/scraper, formed on a tertiary flake of pale honey flint with large cream inclusions. Serrated edges have been formed by short, semi-parallel, abrupt retouch to the distal/mesal edges and the oblique distal end edge. The height of the dorsal ridge has been reduced and the proximal end thinned by invasive, scaled, low-angled retouch. Dates from c1600 to c800 BC. The length is 41mm, width 17mm, thickness 8mm, and the weight is 4.60g.

Mesolithic to early Neolithic tertiary flake of off white translucent quartz. Probably debitage but possibly a poorly made bladelet or microlith as there is retouch (short, sub-parallel, abrupt) along one mesal. It has been snapped off at the proximal end and the distal terminates in flawed stone. Dates to between c8000 and c3500 BC. The length is 10mm, width 5mm, and the weight is 0.11g.

Neolithic, patinated off white flint, leaf shaped arrow head, fashioned from a secondary flake off a beach pebble. It has been bifacially worked with removals to 80% of its surface. The centre of the ventral appears to retain a polished surface. This may be a fortuitous result of some form of flaking, but there are no sign of conchoidal rippling so this is unlikely to be the result of artificial flaking.
