Copper alloy coin, probably a sestertius of Marcus Aurelius as Caesar (AD 139-61), dating to AD 148-9 (Reece Period 7), [TR POT III COS II], (VIRTVS in exergue), S C, Roma seated left holding parazonium and vertical spear. Mint of Rome. RIC III, p. 179, cf. no. 1283. The coin is of 29mm in diameter but only weighs 13.96g, so it is possible this is a large dupondius (see RIC III, p. 180, cf. no. 1295).

A complete Post Medieval cast lead alloy sub-circular uniface token of Powell Type 2 . The token is decorated with letters HB which are joined and the other face is undecorated. The token measures 17.85 mm diameter and is 2.25 mm thick and weighs 2.73 grams. Tokens had a wide variety of uses and were easy to manufacture; they are therefore difficult to date precisely outside of archaeological contexts; those with initials are generally thought to be Post Medieval in date, c.1550-1800 AD.

The token measures 18.96 mm diameter and is 1.94 mm thick and weighs 4.88 grams. Tokens had a wide variety of uses and were easy to manufacture; they are therefore difficult to date precisely outside of archaeological contexts, those with simple designs may be Medieval or Post Medieval in date, c.1250-1800 AD.

A clipped medieval silver penny of Edward III (1327-1377). Fourth coinage, Pre-Treaty Period, probably Series C (North 1149) dating to c. 1351-1352. Mint of London. North (1975, 38). The coin measures 16.29mm in diameter, 0.52mm in thickness and weighs 0.665g. The clipping on this coin is quite considerable; it has also suffered some circumferential cracks.

An incomplete cast copper-alloy Medieval annular brooch, dating to between c. 13th-14th centuries AD. The brooch is annular and flat, with a small narrowed notch in the frame, which would have accommodated the pin, now missing. The outer face of the frame is decorated with simple incised lines radiating from the centre hole. It measures 17.43 mm in diameter, 1.41 mm thick and weighs 0.97 grams. The brooch is of an even brown-green patina.
