Lead cloth seal. Pair of cast discs linked by sprue and clamped together. One side bears the motif of a bishop's mitre within a tressure with trefoils or lis on its cusps. The other side bears a W (or possibly M) with an annulet on either side within a pelleted circle. Patinated overall. The mitre was among the badges associated with the German city of Augsburg, noted for its fustian cloths. An early post-medieval date is suggested by the letter style. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1500-1600. Length: 30.5mm, Diameter (discs): 20.0mm, Thickness: 4.6mm, Weight: 11.74gms.

The stem is stepped towards the other end, for insertion into a rotating drum. This class of object is frequently reported, and variously misidentified, often as an apothecary spoon or cosmetic implement. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1800-1900. An incomplete post medieval cooper alloy book-clasp dating AD 1550-1800. The object is formed of two plates of sheet copper alloy. The front plate is rectangular with a fantail at one end and a hooked projection in the centre of the opposite end. The back plate is of the same shape but without the hooked projection. An incomplete and corroded post-Medieval copper-alloy and gilded anthropomorphic mount (1600-1700). The mount is broadly pear-shaped in plan (pointed end at the bottom) with a finial at the top and a three-pointed splayed terminal at the bottom. Moulded decoration at the front is in the form of a plain border enclosing a human mask. The mask has a severe expression and has a distinctive fringe. A complete lead alloy unifaced token, of Medieval to Post Medieval dating (AD 1300 to AD 1600). The token is sub circular in shape. The obverse depicts a raised long cross design with a pellet in each quarter (Powell type 14). The reverse is plain and undecorated. The token has a diameter of 15.3 mm, and is 3.0 mm thick. A cylindrical chape made up of stamped copper alloy sheet, dating to the 15th-17th century. The base is a circular disc fitted into the base, 7mm in diameter. The upper edge has V-shaps cut out of it as decoration and is mis-shaped due to post depositional damage. The longitudinal seam is no longer held together by sodler. The decoration is floral with a central row of raised pellets flanked by solid lines, and a similar sequence of pellets and solid lines at the top edge, leaving a blank area of 13mm before the edge.
