Neolithic, patinated off white flint, leaf shaped arrow head, fashioned from a secondary flake off a beach pebble. It has been bifacially worked with removals to 80% of its surface. The centre of the ventral appears to retain a polished surface. This may be a fortuitous result of some form of flaking, but there are no sign of conchoidal rippling so this is unlikely to be the result of artificial flaking. Mid to late Bronze Age serrated implement, and possible knife/scraper, formed on a tertiary flake of pale honey flint with large cream inclusions. Serrated edges have been formed by short, semi-parallel, abrupt retouch to the distal/mesal edges and the oblique distal end edge. The height of the dorsal ridge has been reduced and the proximal end thinned by invasive, scaled, low-angled retouch. Dates from c1600 to c800 BC. The length is 41mm, width 17mm, thickness 8mm, and the weight is 4.60g.
