Cast copper-alloy button-and-loop-fastener dating from the early Roman period, that is c. AD50-150. The button and loop fastener is of the teardrop- or petal-headed type, which is Wild's Class III. Is survives complete but with a very corroded surface and iron corrosion inside the triangular fastening loop. The head is teardrop- or petal-shaped with a raised circular moulding in the centre. The shank is triangular in shape with a circular cross section. Petal- or teardrop-shaped button and loop fasteners were typically not enamelled.

Post Medieval copper alloy double-looped oval buckle with an iron pin and separate strap-plate. The loops form one continuous oval outer frame and the outer sides of the loops are slightly widened. The outer edge is rounded and the inner edge and back flat and plain. The integral strap bar is plain. The iron pin is highly corroded but remains in situ. A post medieval copper alloy thimble dating to the 16th century. The thimble has straight sides with a separate dome at the peak. There are undecorated bands at the base and at just before the dome with a pattern of circular shaped pits spiralling from the lower band to the upper band. The circular pits also cover the dome. There is no evidence of a maker's mark and there is some dark grey discolouration across sections of the thimble. No exact parallels can be found for this object. A copper alloy finger ring, probably of Post-Medieval date, about AD 1500 - 1800. It is a simple, broad hoop of thin rectangular section, without bezel. It is decorated with a stamped pattern of opposing equilateral triangles; each triangle containing a stylised fleur-de-lis. It has been made by bending a strip of metal and soldering the ends to form a ring. The butted join is clearly visible and the decoration is not aligned. The ring has a rough, light green patina and has been partially bent out of shape. It is 17.6mm long and 16.2mm wide and the loop is 5.3mm wide and 0.6mm thick.…

Copper alloy double oval buckle frame with missing pin and narrowed triangular-section strap bar. The outside edge of each loop is scalloped forming seven foils defined by deep transverse grooves, with slightly shallower transverse grooves between. There is a very slight trace of possible gilding on the upper surface. The reverse face of the buckle is plain and flat and the frame is now slightly angled. Whitehead dates buckles of this type to circa 1450-1600 AD.

Copper alloy scoop from a seed drill. Cast hemispherical spoon on the narrower end of a slightly tapered round-section stem. The stem is stepped towards the other end, for insertion into a rotating drum. This class of object is frequently reported, and variously misidentified, often as an apothecary spoon or cosmetic implement. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1800-1900. An incomplete post medieval cooper alloy book-clasp dating AD 1550-1800. The object is formed of two plates of sheet copper alloy. The front plate is rectangular with a fantail at one end and a hooked projection in the centre of the opposite end. The back plate is of the same shape but without the hooked projection. Copper alloy vessel fragment. Concavo-convex naturalistically modelled paw of a lion, with a circular lug with drilled hole of diameter 3mm for attachment to a small bowl, serving as one of its feet. The light construction of the piece, with detail retained as a negative impression on the hollow back, suggests this may be from a decorative item of tableware in Neo-Classical style.
