A complete and worn post-Medieval silver sixpence of Elizabeth I (1558-1603), minted at London. Initial mark: pheon, dated 1564 on coin (North 1991: 134, ref: 1997).
Obverse: ELIZABETH:D.G.ANG.FR.ET.HI.REGINA; Crowned bust left with a rose behind the head
Reverse: POSVI/DEV.AD/IVTORE/M:MEV. (I have made God my Helper); Square shield on long cross fourchée dividing the inscription with date of 1564 above shield
Diameter: 25.4mm. Weight: 2.94g. DA=12:3.

An incomplete post-Medieval silver halfpenny of Henry VIII (1509-1547), minted at the Tower mint in London, 1509-1526. Mintmark: portcullis (North 1991: 110, ref: 1779; Withers & Withers 2004: 21-22. Type 1B).
Obverse: (portcullis) hENRIC DI GRA[ ] (saltire stops); Crowned bust facing
Reverse: CIVI/TAS/LOn/DOn; Long cross fourchée dividing the inscription with three pellets in each quadrant
Diameter: 12.2mm. Weight: 0.32g. DA=12:4.
