A complete single loop kidney shaped buckle frame and pin, of Late Medieval dating (AD 1450 to AD 1550). The buckle frame and pin are present, the strap plate is missing, presumed lost in antiquity. The buckle frame is kidney shaped with a triangular knop at the centre point, acting as a pin rest. The loops of the buckle frame has been decorated. The decoration consists of a groove to either side, parallel to the edge, and a row of raised squares betweem. The strap bar is offset, and rounded knops are present at either end. A circular, cast lead alloy button, probably of Medieval date, about AD 1200 - 1500. It is decorated with a plain cross, cast in high relief, within a narrow wire line border. There is a pellet in the centre of the cross and at the end of each arm; there is also a single pellet in each angle of the cross. A complete copper alloy modified probable strap clasp, of Late Medieval to Early Post Medieval dating (AD 1400 to AD 1500). The probable strap clasp frame is sub rectangular in plan, with a recessed back, and thin side walls. The front of the clasp is triangular in shape (pointed), with incised decoration. Copper alloy with enamel mount. Cast symmetrical mount comprising a central hexagonal plate flanked by opposed elongated collared lugs, each with a drilled attachment hole of diameter 3mm. The plate bears the device of three cinquefoil florets springing from a small tapered receptacle against a parti-coloured enamel ground, mid blue to the right and [now] green to the left. The object is now gently curved. The decorative use of enamel was especially characteristic of 13th-century Limoges work, while the three flowers could allude to the Holy Trinity. Approximately 75% of the handle is present, consisting of one of the animal head terminals, and a vertical and horizontal shaft. The other animal head terminal and a vertical shaft are missing, presumed lost in antiquity. The horizontal and vertical shafts are rectangular in cross-section (7.5 x 6.2mm). A cast copper alloy, single loop buckle with an integral plate, dating from about AD 1250 - 1400. It has an oval frame with a broad outer edge and a pointed knop at each end of the strap bar. The plate is narrow, tapering to a point, and is decorated with two transverse ridges flanking a bulbous area. A rim sherd from a Cast copper-alloy cooking vessel of Medieval date. A rectangular fragment from the wall of the vessel preserving part of the out-turned rim survives, the remainder now missing due to old breaks. It has a dark green patina with bleckened exterior surface indicative of exposure to high temperatures or fire. The fragment measures 47.92mm in length, 46.52mm in width, 3.22mm in thickness and 37.76g in weight. This is a rim sherd from a cooking vessel of Medieval date, c.14th-15th centuries AD.

A medieval copper alloy strap end dating to the 14th century. The object is formed of a single sheet of copper alloy which has been folded widthways. It would have been connected to the strap by two rivets, which are no longer present. The rivet holes have been drilled from one side and are located along the open edge on both sides of the object. One side of the strap end appears to taper from the bend to the opposing edge. The object has some damage and has developed a light-mid green patina. A medieval iron candle holder dating AD 1270-1400. The object consists of a single cup, formed by folding a rectangular iron sheet with rounded ends to create a cylinder. There are two stems, both are squared and taper to a point but have been rounded but wear. There is a large amount of sediment contained within the cup. Examples of medieval candle holders can be found in Egan (1998, 142-143) though this example seems to be a hybrid of the straight-stem and the right-angled stem types.
