Incomplete elaborately decorated medieval copper alloy domed thimble, the full height and about half surviving. A band around the base is left plain and is slightly thicker than the remainder. On the sides the spces around a shallow engraved zig-zag are filled with horizontal lines of tiny round indentations. Above this the gap between two encircling lines is occupied by a much narrower zig-zag. Almost complete medieval copper alloy sword belt hanger, with the corner of one end missing. There are two integral suspension loops, three attachment holes and symmetrical foliar decoration moulded in counter-relief (and partly obscured by corrosion). This form of hanger is very much less common than the standard triple-looped variety (e.g. Read 2008, no. 793). One complete example of this present type is known (GLO-BAF1E7) along with two fragmentary pieces (BERK-4341A3 and NMS-2A9906). Medieval copper alloy spur leather attachment engaged with a copper alloy D-sectioned ring. The attachment consists of a rectangular plate with an integral loop springing from a short edge and secured by an integral rivet on reverse. Two other Norfolk examples of this arrangement have the addition of a staple that is engaged with the ring, from Gayton (HER 29715, NMS-2F5756) and Lyng (HER 52536, NMS-692453). Length and width of attachment 26.5 and 15.7mm. External and internal diameter of ring 17.5 and 12mm. 14th - 15th century.

The socket is circular (diameter 6mm). Extant length 40mm. External diameter of loop or bow 29mm. Broadly comparable with an example from Licolnshire (NLM-7B75F1). Mid 1st - 4th century.

Incomplete and distorted Roman copper alloy military harness mount, domed and ovoid A curving arm on one long edge ends in a disc terminal. Most of the opposite edge is probably a break. It has been bent inwards and the remains of an integral projection from the rear was probably for attachment. Comparable terminals can be seen on Oldenstein 1976, Taf. 67, Nr. 8801 and 883, although these objects are not domed. Extant length 29.5mm. Width 30mm. 2nd - 3rd century.

Post-medieval copper alloy finger ring without a bezel and with a flat-sectioned hoop of decorated with a punched stylised foliar motif repeated six times and separated by transverse grooves. There is some distortion because the hoop has sprung apart at a break, but the soldered butt-joint has held firm. Diameter c.18.5mm. Width 4.9mm. Thickness 0.7mm. 17th - 18th century.

It measures 13.52mm in diameter and 0.84mm in thickness; it weighs 0.54g. It now has a sub-square flan, and has been pierced, possibly for re-use as jewellery. The piercing is located at about 11 o'clock on the obverse, corresponding to about 1 o'clock on the reverse.
