Incomplete and distorted Roman copper alloy military harness mount, domed and ovoid A curving arm on one long edge ends in a disc terminal. Most of the opposite edge is probably a break. It has been bent inwards and the remains of an integral projection from the rear was probably for attachment. Comparable terminals can be seen on Oldenstein 1976, Taf. 67, Nr. 8801 and 883, although these objects are not domed. Extant length 29.5mm. Width 30mm. 2nd - 3rd century.
