Iron arrowhead, medieval in date (c AD1200-1350). The arrow is roughly triangular shaped with damaged barbs and an internal socket for attaching to a shaft. There is a relief spine running up the centre on both sides. See Ottaway and Rogers pg 2968 for similar medieval arrowheads. The object is corroded and in poor condition.

Copper alloy spur rowel. Cast rowel of seven points, with a central spindle hole of diameter 8mm, now worn to a slightly ovoid form. Two adjacent points are severely worn down, possibly from the failure of the spindle to permit the rowel to turn freely, and this object appears rather flimsy for the use proposed. Suggested date: probably Post-Medieval, 1500-1650. Diameter: 42.2mm, Thickness: 2.4mm, Weight: 7.65gms.

Copper alloy buckle. Cast D shaped buckle with zoomorphic decoration comprising moulded beast heads biting each end of a round section strap bar. The creatures are of reptilian appearance: their eyes and the ridged top of the snouts are well defined, though less crisply modelled features behind these may represent ears. The frame is also of round section, but is not expanded on its outer edge. Suggested date: Early Medieval, 875-975. Length: 19.6mm, Height: 24.4mm, Thickness: 5.3mm, Weight: 7.76gms.

Post-medieval buckle of hybrid type: a copper alloy double-looped buckle frame with separate bar or spindle of iron, the inner loop D-shaped, the outer much larger and trapezoidal with concave sides and outside edge. A cast copper alloy D-sectioned pin and a plate or chape with an integral hook at the inside edge (point missing) both pivot on the iron bar. A rounded lobe projects from the inside edge of the D-shaped loop, and there is a pair of small lateral lobes on the plate at the springing of the hook.
