A silver object, probably a coin, of uncertain date. The coin is worn and misshapen with no diagnostic features remaining. The condition of the coin suggests it has been melted. The exact date of the coin is uncertain but is likely to be a Roman silver denarius though may also be a later medieval or post medieval coin. Insufficient evidence remains to allow a firm date to be ascribed.
