A complete Medieval sheet copper-alloy mount with a hole for a separate rivet (c. 1270-c. 1350). The mount is sub-rectangular in plan. It has been pressed and is convex at the front and concave at the rear. At the front, decoration is in the form of three raised lateral ridges at the centre with a lobe at each corner. Close to the centre there is a small circular rivet hole, the rivet is missing. The front has a shiny mid-green patina and the rear is matt green. An almost complete Medieval cast copper-alloy book mount of Howsam type B.1.2 (c. 1300-c. 1400). This umbonate quatrefoil mount is domed at the front and largely concave at the rear. It has four evenly spaced flat lugs situated at the base. Each lug has a circular rivet hole and there is a ridge between each lobe and the dome. The rivets are lost. Incomplete post-medieval copper alloy hooked and domed sword belt fitting, almost all of the sheet back plate missing. There are the remains of an iron rivet in the lobe at the top end. Above the incomplete hook at the base there is an integral rivet. Cf. Read 2008, nos. 813-7. The form is most similar to no. 813 but a double collar above the hook is as nos. 814 and 817. Length 49.5mm. Width 21.7mm. Height of dome 7.5mm. 17th century.

The decoration, probably highly stylised zoomorphic, on the convex front is similar to that on Read 2001, no. 168, with the addition of groups of very fine and closely spaced transverse grooves.
