Middle Saxon to Late Saxon copper alloy openwork disc brooch of "cogwheel" type with eighteen teeth around the border. On the reverse a single pin lug with some staining from the missing iron pin and an incomplete catchplate are both set parallel with the edge. A concavity lies behind the central boss. This is of a well-known type of Continental origin, with one example found in a context of c.800 at Everswinkel, Germany (Youngs, S. in Wallis 2004, 40, fig. 35, SF 390). Fragment of the hoof-shaped terminal of a Late Iron Age to early Roman copper alloy linch pin, roughly circular and cast with a chord missing, and part of the ankle or shank. At the break across the shank a large air-hole has been exposed. A blob of metal adheres to the reverse near the edge. Parts of the surface and the fracture are blackened. A Medieval or early Medieval copper alloy cross. The cross has four arms, the lower one of which is extended. Each arm tapers outwards slightly forming a trapezoidal shape. It has no obvious decoration and the upper arm appears to be damaged suggesting that it may have had a suspension loop here. A large silver object, probably a coin, of Post-Medieval date. The object has been worn virtually smooth on both surfaces leaving no diagnostic details. The object is however roughly the right size and shape to have been a half crown of Charles I. The worn condition of the object suggests it may have been used as a touch piece, an amuletic object believed to cure disease and bring good luck.

A copper alloy lace tag of probably Post Medieval date. It is a cone of sheet copper alloy, 6.2mm in diameter at the open end and tapering to a rounded blunt point. The terminal end is decorated with a globular collar decorated with four circumferential grooves. There are two opposing rivet holes near the open end, and the cone has cracks running across the holes. Instead of a lace tag, this object could also be part of a small brush or the terminal of a slender wooden object such as a pen. Compare WILT-71AAE6 and SWYOR-B1FFB4.

A cast lead alloy spindle whorl of possible Early Medieval date, about AD 500 - 600. It is conical and has a central, circular hole of 6mm diameter. It is 19.7mm in diameter and 10.4mm high. It weighs 17.6gm. The lead has a creamy white patina. Similar whorls are discussed in Walton Rogers (2007). She suggests that this shape and central holes of a diametre of 6-9mm are more likely to be 6th century in date. However, neither feature is a reliable dating technique, so a later date is also possible.

A cast lead alloy spindle whorl of unknown date. It is circular and flat (discoidal), without any decoration, and has a central, circular hole of 8mm diameter. It is 25.4mm in diameter and 7.3mm thick. It weighs 29.06gm. The metal is patiated to a white colour, with a recent gash showing as unpatinated grey metal. Flat discoidal whorls were used from the Iron Age through the Early Medieval period, and probably later too (Walton Rogers 2007). It is an example of a Coppergate Type B1 whorl.
