Part of a circular section casting sprue or attachment is present, measuring 3.6 mm in length, with a diameter of 4.5 mm. It is a light to mid grey colour with an even surface patina. The musket ball has a diameter of 11.2 mm and a length of 15.5 mm. It weighs 8.2 g.

An incomplete copper alloy openwork mount, of Early Post Medieval dating (16th to 18th Centuries AD). Approximately 75% of the mount is present. It was probably originally symmetrical in design. It consists of a convex openwork lozenge at the centre, with scalloped external edges. The remnants of a fleur de lys / lis are present at the base, and an annulet at the top of the mount. Unusual form of Late Saxon stirrup-strap mount, the upper part comprising a cinquefoil with perforated central upper foil, and each of the five foils with incised rocker arm lines containing tinning, now upstanding from the surrounding decayed surface.
