Brown semi-translucent flint of good quality with patch of cortex. Scraper; flake with three long flake removal scars on its dorsal side and with a prominent bulb of percussion on the ventral aspect. Pressure flaked retouch occurs around the curved end, and at a deep notch about half way along one side, in both cases executed from the dorsal aspect. Suggested date: Early Neolithic, 4000-3500 BC. Length: 47mm, Width: 23.3mm, Thickness: 7.7mm, Weight: 5.99gms.

Iron file. Wrought iron whittle tanged tool of rectangular section, tapering towards a blunt or broken end at one end, and a pyramidal terminal to its tang at the other. The object is shouldered where it meets the tang, which presumably engaged a wooden handle. Faint traces of diagonal grooves on the four flat faces suggest the identification offered. The extensive survival of metal argues a relatively recent date. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1650-1850. Length: 132.5mm, Width: 13.1mm, Thickness: 9.4mm, Weight: 52.63gms.

A broken and incomplete post-medieval copper-alloy double-looped buckle frame with trapezoidal loops. Only one loop remains, with only a small section of one of the sides remaining from the other. The loop is rectangular in cross section. The outer edge of the loop extend into a point at its centre, flanked by rounded knops at the corners; both of these latter are now abraded. The object is broken as the blade narrows to approach a socket (lost), where it is already of hollow construction. The cutting edges of the blade are abraded, more so on one side than the other, and probably relatively recently. Suggested date: Middle to Late Bronze Age, 1600-800 BC.
