a copper alloy shoe buckle with a maker's mark reading: "W / (W)OT(F)" on the chape. It dates from about AD 1690 - 1720. The frame is rectangular in plan and curved in profile. It is drilled for a separate iron spindle upon which is the copper alloy pin and stud chape. The stud from the chape is mssing, but was a separate piece rather than being integral. The maker's mark is stamped onto the chape. The buckle has a smooth grey shiny patina. Compare number 663 on page 103 of Whitehead's Buckles. This appears to be the first example of this maker on the database.

A probably Post-Medieval (1600-1900) copper alloy hollow spherical probable button, probably a two-piece construction although the surface of the metal is so pitted the join is not discernable. Two perforations, close to each other, are probably for a separate wire shank. One of these perforations (2.5mm diameter) is at the centre of an oval depression, c.10x4mm. The other perforation measures 2.4mm diameter. The metal is now a dark green in colour and between the pitting, it has a shiny patination. Measures 15.01mm in diameter and weighs 4.76g.

A lead alloy impacted pistol ball of post-Medieval date, AD 1600 - 1850. The ball has been fired and has struck a solid object as it is now a in the shape of a flattened disc with a slightly thicker centre. It is characteristic of balls that have struck a hard flat rough surface at high velocity and can be compared to examples in Harding (2012, Lead Short of the English Civil war: a Radical Study, plate 25). The leading face displays a pattern of radiating striations. It has a light grey patina. In its current configuration it is 25mm long, 22.9mm wide and 3.4mm thick. It weighs 9.76gm.

A circular, cast lead alloy weight of uncertain date, but probably Medieval or post-Medieval, about AD 1400 - 1800. It is in the shape of a shallow dome with a convex upper side and a flat base. It is possible that there is a design of three lions passant on the upper side, with only the upper of the three lions being discernable, but extensive patinated damage and wear makes this uncertain. A Post Medieval iron ring from a foot patten dating from about AD 1720 - 1900. The patten component has an oval ring of rectangular section, a raised platform at the heel where there is a trapezoidal attachment plate with two rivet holes and one iron rivet surviving, and a raised "cooking pot" shped attachment plate at the toe containing the remains of a single rivet and with a broken projection at the front. An incomplete copper-alloy candlestick of Post-Medieval date. Only a fragment of the socket survives, the remainder of the object is missing due to old breaks, now worn. The socket is cylindrical in shape measuring 21.01mm in external diameter. The front face is decorated with two circumferential grooves around its middle and a similar, single, groove around its base.
