A complete spherical lead alloy ball, probably a musket ball or shot, of Post Medieval dating (17th Century AD onwards). The lead shot is spherical in shape. Part of a circular section casting sprue or attachment is present, measuring 3.6 mm in length, with a diameter of 4.5 mm. It is a light to mid grey colour with an even surface patina. The musket ball has a diameter of 11.2 mm and a length of 15.5 mm. It weighs 8.2 g.

A fragment of a post-Medieval silver-gilt finger-ring (1500-1650). Treasure case no. 2014 T219. The outer face of the plain hoop is convex and the flat inner face is inscribed: [?] CHANGE with serifed capitals. The N has a reversed bar. Gilding has survived on the inner face with small patches on the outer face. The breaks appear to be old. 25.7mm (length); 5.5mm (width); 1.0mm (thickness). Weight: 1.16g. The full inscription may have been 'NEVER TO CHANGE', or 'NO CHANGE TILL DEATH', see British Museum examples: 1961,1202.48; AF.1385

An incomplete copper alloy openwork mount, of Early Post Medieval dating (16th to 18th Centuries AD). Approximately 75% of the mount is present. It was probably originally symmetrical in design. It consists of a convex openwork lozenge at the centre, with scalloped external edges. The remnants of a fleur de lys / lis are present at the base, and an annulet at the top of the mount. Unusual form of Late Saxon stirrup-strap mount, the upper part comprising a cinquefoil with perforated central upper foil, and each of the five foils with incised rocker arm lines containing tinning, now upstanding from the surrounding decayed surface. A copper alloy single looped rectangular buckle dating from AD 1500 - 1650. The frame has an expanded outer edge decorated with a groove along the outmost edge. The sides are half round in section and baluster shaped. The sides project beyond the bar to form lobed feet. An iron pin survives wrapped round the bar. The frame has a smooth dark green patina. a copper alloy shoe buckle with a maker's mark reading: "W / (W)OT(F)" on the chape. It dates from about AD 1690 - 1720. The frame is rectangular in plan and curved in profile. It is drilled for a separate iron spindle upon which is the copper alloy pin and stud chape. The stud from the chape is mssing, but was a separate piece rather than being integral. The maker's mark is stamped onto the chape. The buckle has a smooth grey shiny patina. Compare number 663 on page 103 of Whitehead's Buckles. This appears to be the first example of this maker on the database.

A cast copper alloy Roman brooch, dating from AD 100 - 400. It is a variant of the knee brooch type with a plate like head (the edges are broken so the original shape in unknown), a short bow and a fantail foot. Head, bow and foot are all of rectangular section. There is no decoration. On the underside of the head are two semi-circular lugs. These are pierced to take the pin bar. The remains of a ferrous pin bar can be seen in both of the lugs; the pin and bar itself is missing.
