An incomplete copper alloy openwork mount, of Early Post Medieval dating (16th to 18th Centuries AD). Approximately 75% of the mount is present. It was probably originally symmetrical in design. It consists of a convex openwork lozenge at the centre, with scalloped external edges. The remnants of a fleur de lys / lis are present at the base, and an annulet at the top of the mount. The reverse is plain and undecorated. Two incomplete integrally cast attachment spike with a circular cross section, extend from the rear of the mount.
