A copper alloy Medieval French Jetton. The jetton is probably a Shield of France type but the degree of wear and corrosion precludes a more detailed identification. Obverse; Flat-topped shield within inner circle surrounded by illegible legend. Detail within shield also illegible. Reverse; Triple stranded cross fleuretty within four-arched tressure. Circa 1400-1500 AD.

An incomplete copper alloy English jetton, of the Sterling type (Berry type 1) dating to between c. AD 1280 and c. AD 1340. The obverse depicts a forward facing crowned bust. The obverse legend is missing. The reverse depicts a long cross with six pellets in each quarter. A circular punch mark is present in the centre of the reverse. The reverse legend is missing.
