A fragment of a copper alloy Post Medieval or Modern probable finger ring. The ring is made from a strip of copper alloy which is 4.67mm wide and 0.88mm thick. Only 18mm survives in length and it is bent back on itself. The strip is decorated with a lozenge shaped design, and transverse bands of milling. It has a dark green patina. It was probably a Georgian fairground ring.

A fragment of a post-Medieval silver-gilt finger-ring (1500-1650). Treasure case no. 2014 T219. The outer face of the plain hoop is convex and the flat inner face is inscribed: [?] CHANGE with serifed capitals. The N has a reversed bar. Gilding has survived on the inner face with small patches on the outer face. The breaks appear to be old. 25.7mm (length); 5.5mm (width); 1.0mm (thickness). Weight: 1.16g. The full inscription may have been 'NEVER TO CHANGE', or 'NO CHANGE TILL DEATH', see British Museum examples: 1961,1202.48; AF.1385

Incomplete medieval gold finger ring. An oval collet forms a bezel, the upper half with sloping, concave sides, the lower half with flat sloping sides. The narrow, broken and slightly distorted hoop is oval-sectioned, expanding slightly at the shoulders to small triangular bosses at the join between the hoop and the bezel. There is no trace of engraved decoration and the rear of the hoop is missing. When found, the collet contained a red or pink stone, presumebaly glass, which had sunk into the collect. The stone was accidentally damaged and the fragments lost during examination. …
