A Post Medieval to Modern copper alloy button. The button is circular in plan with a series of circuar knops around the circumference. At the centre is a raised circular border; within this is an open work pattern of ovals arranged in a circle. At the centre is a raised circular knop. There are traces of silvering visible on the front surface of the item. At the back is a tear-drop shaped attachment loop.

Cast copper alloy strap end of early medieval date, that is the 9th century. It is a Middle Saxon/ Late Saxon strap end of Thomas' Class A Type 1 with a broken across split for strap in upper end. Both surfaces are extremely worn but along part the obverse was probably decorated with a cast trapezoidal panel of Trewhiddle-style animal ornament with niello inlay (extremely worn now), comprising a single seated quadruped to dexter with head raised and mouth open mouth. The strap end has a cast animal-head terminal with large ears which are still clearly visible.

Cast copper alloy strap fitting (a bar mount with pendant loop) dating from the medieval period, that is c. AD1270-1400. The fitting comes in two pieces, one horse-shoe shaped loop and a small rectangular attachment loop which is damaged. The larger loop has an ornamental knop on the outer edge with a moulded collar, the rectangular loop is plain, with one small rivet still in place.

A complete cast copper alloy hooked strap or sword belt fitting dating from the post-medieval period, that is the 17th century. It is very worn and the decoration on the obverse is hardly visible. The strap fitting was cast in one piece, and a separate piece of copper alloy sheet metal was attached to the reverse. It consists of an oval plate bearing an incised floral decoration or a palmette.
