An Anglo-Scandinavian copper-alloy bullion weight dating from the ninth or tenth century. The weight is in the shape of a cube with the corners cut off, so that six of the sides are square and the remaining eight are triangular. The square sides are decorated with a single border of punched dots and two lines of punched dots around two stamped ring and dot motifs. The triangular sides are also decorated with a single border of punched dots. The weight has a dark green patina. Very similar examples on the database are NMS-DCA8F5, SWYOR-0CDB58 and SWYOR-84BEC4.
