A complete and slightly bent post-Medieval silver shilling of Elizabeth I (1558-1603), minted at London. Initial mark: cross-srosslet, 1560-1561 (North 1991:133, ref: 1985). Obverse: ELIZABETH:D.G'ANG.FR.ET.HI'REGINA; Crowned bust left Reverse: POSVI/DEV.'AD/IVTORE/M:MEV.'; Square shield on long cross fourchée dividing the legend Diameter: 31.5mm. Weight: 6.08g.
