This button measures 10.83mm in diameter, 6.54mm in thickness 13.57mm in total length (including lug), 3.41g in weight. An incomplete Medieval copper-alloy oval buckle frame with offset and narrowed bar, Meols type 6. It is missing the pin. It is D-shaped in section with a rectangular expanded outer edge. The front face of the outer edge is decorated with multiple transverse grooves. The back face is undecorated. This buckle measures 14.40mm in length, 16.52mm in width, 0.68mm in thickness and 1.05g in weight. There is a similar example from London (Egan and Pritchard, 1991, p. 73, no. 294).
