A post-Medieval cast copper-alloy double-looped buckle (c. 1570-c. 1700). The frame and pin are complete. This buckle is convex at the front and flat at the rear. It is rectangular in plan, has rounded corners and each loop is similar and rectangular. The narrowed bar is triangular in cross-section, flat at the rear. Viewing the buckle from the side, each loop rises, from the centre to the outer edges and is at angles of about 6° from the horizontal plane. An incomplete copper alloy Colchester derivative (double lug) brooch, of Roman dating (AD 43 to AD 100). Approximately 50% of the brooch is present, consisting of the bow, incomplete wings, head and partial spring. The pin, foot and catchplate are missing, presumed lost in antiquity. In plan, the brooch is almost T-shaped, and D-shaped in cross section. A worked / knapped flint scraper of Early to Middle Neolithic date, circa 4000 - 2700 BC. The scraper is broadly semi-circular in plan and lentoid in cross section. No cortex is present indicating that the scraper was made from tertiary debitage. No surface patina. The flint is finely grained and opaque with an even dark brown colour. An incomplete copper alloy trapezoidal buckle frame of Post Medieval dating (AD 1660 to AD 1720). The buckle frame is trapezoidal in plan, with a drilled frame, for a separate spindle. The frame exhibits moulded decoration. Scrolled knops are present on either side of the spindle holes. A punched floral pattern is present on the outer edge of each loop. The spindle, pin and chape are missing, presumed lost in antiquity. The buckle frame measures 33.5 mm in length, 22.4 mm wide and 3.8 mm thick. It weighs 5.2 g.
