A cast tanged dagger or knife dating to the Late Bronze Age. The dagger is leaf shaped, slender and with a very thin, almost flat pointed oval cross-section. The blade is double edged with each edge being bevelled. The top of the blade is slightly shouldered where it narrows into a rectangular tang. There is a single rivet hole, 4.7mm diameter, with a sloping edge that is sub-circular in plan and slightly off-centre. The surface condition is poor with extensive loss due to corrosion. A cast copper alloy Early Bronze Age (2350-1601 BC) knife-dagger with midrib. The knife-dagger is broadly triangular in plan and is mostly complete although there is some damage to the butt end where the circular rivet holes are no longer closed. There is also some damage to the butt and blade edges. The midrib is worn but is widest at the butt, gradually narrowing to the tip, which is rounded.
