An incomplete knapped / struck flint blade probably dating to the late Mesolithic period, circa 7000-3500 BC. The blade is sub-rectangular in plan and roughly triangular in profile. No cortex is present indicating that this is a tertiary blade. The flint is a translucent light -mid brown colour. The dorsal surface as a single central longitudinal ridge. Evidence of retouch on all edges. Concoindal ripples are present on the ventral surface and there is some damage probably caused by movement in the plough soil.

No cortex is present indicating that this is a tertiary blade. The flint is a slightly mottled light - mid brown colour and is translucent. Two central longitudinal ridges are present on the dorsal side, with some evidence of retouching.Concoidal ripples are present on the ventral surface.
