A worn and corroded dove type horseshoe of medieval date. Both branches are equal in length and both are tapered towards the heel, which has been thickened by the addition of folded back calkins. A complete cast copper alloy closed or domed type thimble of late Medieval to early Post Medieval date, circa AD1400-1550.
