An incomplete silver mount, possibly a hook clasp. The object is composed of two perforated finials in a floral style, with the stems leading to a double collared junction, with a further projection extending beyond the collar. The curvature of this projection and the position of the break would suggest that a hook extended below the collar. The object has a mid grey pattination. There are no clear parallels for this example, though the style of decoration is indicative of a 17th century date.
