An fragment of Medieval to Late Post-Medieval (1200-1800) copper alloy leg from a cooking vessel with old breaks, one of which is across a central perforation 5.6mm in diameter to the front and 4.9mm diameter to the reverse. It measures 20.47x37.90x11.73mm and weighs 32.67g. The leg is trapezoidal in cross-section with a prominent midrib running along the centre to the front. An Early Post-Medieval (1500-1700) copper alloy mount, an elongated shield-shape (scutiform) with two integral spikes to the reverse. It measures 31.11x13.24x4.34mm and weighs 3.05g. The plate, which is 1.52mm thick, is decorated to the front with four curling fronds either side of a central stem within a U-shaped beaded border and U-shaped rim. At the bottom of the U-shaped projects an acorn knop. At the opposite end, which is cut in a V shape, an inwards-pointing curlicue extends at either corner with a rounded knop in the centre. An incomplete Medieval to Post-Medieval (1350-1650) copper alloy annular buckle frame with integral central bar, missing its pin. It measures 30.07mm in diameter and weighs 6.78g. The bar is offset on one face, and flush on the other. There is a notch on the frame set at 90 degrees to the central bar for the pin. Cf. Whitehead 1996, p.44-5, which he dates to 1350-1650.

A Medieval (1150-1400) copper alloy casket key with a perforated circular bow. It measures 36.93mm in length and weighs 4.34g. The stem is flattish and oval in cross-section, measuring 4.87x2.95mm below the bow. The bow measures 12.60mm in width with an internal circular perforation 5.53mm in diameter. The bit is I-shaped and projects c.7mm beyond the stem. The end of the stem is hollowed for c.1mm. Several examples of similar casket keys were found in excavations in Winchester (see Biddle 1990: 1024-1036), in layers dating from the 12th to 14th centuries.
