Object type: CORE
Broad period: MESOLITHIC
County: Worcestershire
Workflow stage: Awaiting validation
Mesolithic or possibly Neolithic (-8300 to -2100) probable core: The core is knapped from a mottled light to mid grey knapped flint. The core has multiple negative scars cover its surface. There are areas of fine occasional crazing, but doesn't seem enough to due to burning. The core weighs 17.8g and measures 31.13mm long and 26.88mm wide.
This core, probably dates to the Mesolithic period, and possibly to the Neolithic period (-8300 to -2100).
