An incomplete copper-alloy strap fitting, perhaps a buckle plate, of probable Medieval or later date. It is flat, rectangular in form and at one end has the remains of two circular rivet holes that are now incomplete due to old breaks. The entire object is undecorated and measures 31.20mm in length, 16.02mm in width, 0.55mm in thickness and 1.49g in weight. This is an incomplete strap fitting of Medieval or later date, perhaps c.13th-17th centuries AD.

Early to late Medieval copper alloy strap-slide/loop, bar mount style, with internal projections. The central decorative knop on the top bar takes the form of stylised pine cone. Dates from c1150 to c1400 AD. (Egan, G. and Pritchard, F., 2002. Dress Accessories 1150-1450: Medieval finds from excavations in London (4th edition) London : The Stationary Office; pp.233-4) The length is 21mm, the width 18mm, the thickness 7mm, and the weight is 2.54g. An incomplete copper alloy probable single looped buckle or strap-end with an integral box chape or hollow plate, of Medieval dating (c. AD 1400 to c. AD 1500). Approximately 25% of the buckle is present, with part of the loop and plate present. The rest of the loop and plate, and any pin are missing. It is irregular in plan and rectangular in section. The loop is incomplete and it is hard to determine whether it was originally lyre shaped or oval. The curvature of the surviving loop fragment is more suggestive of an oval frame. An incomplete copper alloy strap fitting or mount of Post Medieval Dating (15th to 17th Centuries AD). The mount is sub circular in plan and domed in cross section. The front of the mount is convex, with a domed central area, and a flat border around the edge. The back of the mount is concave, with a thin border surrounded the central circular depression. Two incomplete integrally cast sub rectangular projections (hooks) are present on either side, forming the method of attachment to the strap leather. The mount measures 14.3 mm in diameter and 6.3 mm thick. The metal is 1.4 mm

An incomplete copper-alloy 'vulvate' strap fitting of Roman date. It is missing part of the outside edge due to old breaks, now worn. It is oval in form with a raised hollow boss with a longitudinal groove down the centre, perhaps to imitate a vulva, 6.78mm in height. On the back face is an integral rectangular bar. This strap fitting measures 20.04mm in length, 13.00mm in width, 2.81mm in thickness, 13.01mm in height, 4.60g in weight.
