A complete medieval silver annular brooch. The frame is circular in section and undecorated with no restriction for the pin. The pin is intact. The brooch dates to the late 13th or early 14th century. The frame is complete, but split and bent out of shape. The pin is complete, with a very worn loop. It has a collar made up of two, possibly separately moulded serrated discs. Similar examples can be seen on the database: KENT-8DD891; LIN-0490A4, KENT-8A6D84 and SF-A578C0.

Fragment of an Early Saxon copper alloy Small-long brooch of uncertain type, the central part of the headplate and two incomplete arms (one is the top arm). The lateral arm is decorated with punched dots along the edges and with a transverse groove at the break. On the reverse an incomplete single pin lug is partly obscured by corroded remains of the iron spring. The breaks are old but within recent scuffing. Extant length and width 13.5 and 17.5mm. Description: A Medieval silver gilt penannular brooch or buckle, dating to the 13th/ 14th century. A cast copper alloy Romano-British brooch of birdlip type. The brooch originally would have sprung with an axis bar through a perforated rearward lug and internal chord. The zoomorphic head was cast three-dimensionally with a tongue-like projection above which is a depression, and two long ears curving over the head. A cast copper alloy dolphin brooch dating to the Roman period. The object is a hinged example. The wings are tubular and semi-circular in cross-section with a raised stop-ridge at either end. The wings measure 6.07mm in thickness. The head of the brooch rises up from the wings and tapers downwards forming the bow of the object. An incomplete Roman copper-alloy oval flat disc brooch (AD 100-200). The pin is missing. There is some evidence of silvering on the surface. The flat oval plate is divided into two zones by a reserved metal ridge concentric with the outer rim. The central oval cell was probably host to a glass or enamel inset, now missing. At the rear there are stubs of a pin lug and catch-plate.
