Cast copper alloy double-loop rectangular strap buckle with slightly concave sides and ends and a moulded rosette on each of the four corners. Each rosette has four petals defined by a linear ridge at its base which together form a square around the central pellet of the flower. The frame is lozenge-shaped in section but the strap bar is more rounded on the external face, making it plano-convex in section. It is rectangular in form and L-shaped in profile. The front face is decorated with two longitudinal ribs. It has a dark green patina that is pitted in places.
