Approximately 25% of the brooch is present consisting of the lower part of the bow, the foot knop and partial catch plate. The head, wings, spring and pin are missing, presumed lost in antiquity.

Approximately 25% of the brooch is present, consisting of part of the foot and the catchplate. The head, pin, hinge, bow, wings are missing. The foot consists of a plain triangular area, with two semi circular projecting ridges/collars. The catchplate is incomplete and consists of a rectangular ridge extending vertically from the back of the brooch. The back of the brooch is plain and undecorated.
The brooch measures 17.5 mm in length, 9.1 mm wide and 5.8 mm thick. It weighs 1.6 grams.

Approximately 50% of the brooch is present, consisting of the bow, a wing, head, and an incomplete catch plate. The pin, the other wing and spring are missing, presumed lost in antiquity.
In plan, the brooch is almost T-shaped, and D-shaped in cross section. The bow head is hump-like, and angular (comma shaped) in profile, with incomplete flat rectangular wings projecting from either side at the top. An incomplete copper alloy oval shaped buckle frame, of Post Medieval dating (AD 1660 to AD 1720).
Only the frame is present; the pin, spindle and chape are missing, presumed lost in antiquity.
The frame of the buckle is oval in plan with two central drilled holes to which an incomplete iron spindle / axis bar is fixed. The pin / chape which would have fitted to this bar is also missing. In profile the frame is slightly bowed. There is no evidence for a pin rest on the frame and there is no decoration on the frame either.

Around 50% of the buckle frame is present. The pin and strap plate are missing, presumed lost in antiquity. The buckle frame is kidney shaped. It has an expanded front flanked by two transverse triangular ridges. The strap bar is narrowed and offset.
