Copper alloy spur fragment. Both arms are incomplete although a large part of one remains. The arms of the spur move away from each other in a gentle V-shape. They are bent upwards in a high arch that would have terminated in a loop, this terminal has been truncated from both arms, this is an old break which has worn smooth on the longer fragment. The prick has a sub-triangular cross-section (12mm diameter at the head and 3mm at the truncated end). the head of the prick is missing with the remaining stump being diamond in cross-section. A complete lead spindle whorl of uncertain date, although probably dating to the Medieval or Post Medieval periods. The whorl is broadly circular in plan with an irregular, central circular hole. There are traces of decoration on the upper surface, now very worn and difficult to discern. It measures 4.8mm in thickness, 18.1mm in diameter and weighs 6.99g. Later Medieval to early Post Medieval incomplete copper-alloy spur rowel. The rowel is in the form of a six-pointed star with one of the six prongs now broken off and missing. A copper-alloy Langton Down type brooch, dating from the early to mid 1st century AD. The spring is contained within an open-ended cylinder, a remnant of the pin projecting from a central slit. The slightly distorted bow is of triangular section, its top extending smoothly into the back of the head, the transition marked by a several grooves. The bow tapers towards the foot. An incomplete post-Medieval cast copper-alloy oval shoe or knee buckle frame (c. 1650-c. 1720). The pin and chape are missing. The frame is oval in plan, convex at the front and bevelled at the rear.
