A Medieval silver hammered short cross penny of Henry III (AD 1216 - 1272), dating to between AD 1222 and AD 1236. Minted at Canterbury by the moneyer Salemun. Class 7b. Obverse type: Crowned bust facing with sceptre. Obverse Legend: [HEN]RICV[S REX]. Reverse type: Short cross voided with four pellets in each angle. Reverse legend: SAL[E] MVN O[N C]A. Diameter: 20.14mm. Thickness: 0.6mm. Weight: 1.43g. The obverse has been mis-struck; there is a large space and an incomplete letter between the letters N and R of HENRICVS. References: Spink 1356b. An incomplete Post Medieval / early modern (probable 18th century) silver cufflink. The extant cufflink is one part of a single cufflink or cufflink element / disc. It consists of a single pressed silver octagonal disc which is missing its soldered D shaped attachment loop / staple on the reverse. The hoop would have originally been linked by an elongated oval silver wire loop which would have been threaded through the attachment hoops. A silver post medieval milled coin - most probably a silver sixpence of William III. The coin has been heavily burnt and slightly distorted resulting in the loss of almost all detail. The external edge of the flan is milled where it is best preserved, as are small elements of the inscription. The coin measures: 18.6mm diameter, is 1.2mm thick and weighs 2.1 grams.

An incomplete cast lead alloy uniface token of probable medieval or post medieval date (1200 - 1700). The token is broken in two places, both breaks are modern. From the surviving fragment the design on the front face seems to consist of a multi-branched tree of palm leaf; the design consists of a single central rib, from which extend pairs of diagonal chevrons along its entire length. The metal is a mid grey white colour with a relatively uneven surface patina. The token measures: 18.9mm length, 11.2mm width, is 1.8mm thick and weighs 1.8 grams

A base sherd of a Roman ceramic vessel of unclassified source and type (AD 43-409. The body flares out from the base at an angle of about 50°. When complete the base would have had a diameter of c. 50mm. The base is flat on the underside. The fabric is pink (Munsell Color 7.5YR 8/4). This sherd has abraded breaks. Height: 23.5mm; width: 52.1mm; thickness: 42.4mm. The body has a thickness of 7.3mm where it joins the base. Weight: 19.47g.
