A cast copper alloy hooked tag dating from the early Post-medieval period, AD 1550 - 1650. It has an openwork body in the centre of which is a V-shaped moulding with a lozenge shaped cross hatched motif the angle of the V. At the top of the body are the remains of an attachment loop, probably originally rectangular. The curved hook at the bottom of the tag has broken away and is missing. The tag is folded over at the top and in its present configuration is 16.2mm long, 16.7mm wide and 5.1mm thick. It weighs 1.52gm. This appears to be a Read Class E type 3 see the example on page …

A copper alloy Roman finger ring with a missing oval gem or enamelled oval bezel setting dating from the 2nd century AD. The recessed oval setting on the bezel has traces of turquoise enamel or maybe discoloured white paste. The ring tapers away from the bezel in both width and thickness. It has a smooth grey patina with specks of turquoise corrosion. The internal diameter is 15.23mm. Similar rings with similar settings are known from the 2nd century (Roman Training Notes, Worrell, 2004, unpublished).

An incomplete copper-alloy Roman bow brooch of Colchester derivative rear hook type. It is missing the spring, pin, catch plate, foot and the majority of the rear hook due to old breaks, now worn. A copper alloy Roman button and loop fastener of Wild Class IV dating from the 2nd century AD. The fastener has a triangular loop joined to the button by a short shaft, oval in section, at right angles to the loop and the button. The button is circular and domed, with a hollow reverse. The fastener has a smooth dark green patina.

An incomplete cast copper alloy Medieval or Post Medieval double loop oval buckle. The remains of the buckle consist of the simple plain double loop buckle frame with narrowed strap bar and bevelled edge. The pin is missing. The buckle frame measures 23.5mm long, 18.9mm wide, 2.3mm thick and it weighs 3.01 grams. Similar example are illustrated in Whitehead 2003, pp 53-54, which date c.1350 - 1650 AD.

A copper alloy Roman brooch; a Hod Hill type with middle side lugs dating from AD 43 - 75. The head of the brooch with the pin attachment is missing. The upper bow is rectangular with a broad concave groove down the centre, and a tapering projection in the centre of each edge. If these terminated in knops, they are missing. The lower bow tapers and is divided by four raised bands. Part of the catchplate survives on the reverse. The brooch has a grey brown patina. Similar examples can be seen on page 322 of Hattatt's Visual Catalogue.

A similar button is illustrated in Bailey, 2004, Buttons and Fasteners 500BC - AD1840, page 28, number 7.24.

A copper alloy Roman brooch; a trumpet derivative type with a lower bow in the sawfish brooch tradition, probable dating from AD 75 - 175. The brooch has an integral head loop (incomplete) and a slender trumpet head and upper bow. An acanthus moulding projects forwards only from the centre of the bow. It has a plain collar above and below, and five or six orn petals in a single tier. The reverse of the bow is smooth. The lower bow has four surviving side knops on each side.
