Two cast copper alloy double loop buckles dating to the post-medieval period. The buckles are both of the same type with the same decoration, which can be described as follows: The double looped frame has scrolled knops on each side of the spindle holes and expanded pin rests on the outer edges. Both spindles are made of iron. One buckle retains its pin, which is copper alloy. Similar buckles can be seen in Whitehead (2003:98 no 611) and are dated c. AD 1600-1720.

An incomplete silvered copper alloy buckle of Post-Medieval date (AD 1575-1700). The object is a double loop asymmetrical buckle with moulded decoration on the loops. Four lobed knops are on the outside edge, two on the outside of the loop and two at either end of the strap bar. The pin is missing. There is a triple crenellation on the outer edge of the trapezoidal loop. Similar examples are illustrated in Whitehead, p.92 no.577 and are dated to circa AD 1575 - 1700.

A worn and pitted copper alloy hook, possibly for clothing but more likely for another function. The hook has a rounded loop at the top and a complete forward-facing hook at the bottom. Between the hook and the loop is a circular rivet hole. No parallels could be found in the usual literature, including Read's (2008) corpus on hooked tags and clasps. It may have been mounted on a small chest or box of possibly a harness. Post-medieval to modern in date.

An incomplete cast copper alloy bell of post-medieval to modern date. The bell has an integral suspension loop which sits atop the rounded apex. Beneath this the bell widens to a shoulder from where the sides are straight until they flare outward at the opening. There are two thin incised lines around the bell, just above the flare. There are no other marks or decoration. Internally there is no fitting for the suspension of a clanger. Externally the copper is suffering from 'bronze disease', with corrosion and pitting.

A complete Late Medieval/Early Post-Medieval copper alloy dagger chape with backplate. It weighs 13.21g and measures 42.04mm in length and 32.96mm wide. The chape has a rounded bottom from which a knop extends, with scallop decoration in the form of radiating grooves from an openwork heart at the centre. Above this, at the top of the rounded base, is a horizontal rib with transverse ribbing below an openwork heart. Either side, the edges of the chape slope slightly outwards to a crenellated edge. Post Medieval lead alloy two-disc type cloth seal. Part of one disc remains with the central rivet which would have attached the discs together. The disks and connecting strip have broken away with patinated breaks. An incomplete cast copper-alloy Roman brooch of T-shaped type, dating from the first to second centuries AD. The remains of the brooch consist of a fragment of the circular head loop, followed by a triangular-shaped head attached to a narrow cylindrical cross bar; the cross bar is hollow and seems to hold a portion of the axial pin, with a central gap for the hinge pin, which is partially intact. Incomplete outer sheet plate from a medieval copper alloy composite strap end of circular form, probably a rear plate. On one face there is a wide median band of grey solder (which does not bear direct evidence of a forked scaper). A more normal but much thinner amount of solder is to be seen on the other face close to the edge. Perhaps the object was partailly dismantled an the plate reversed, or perhaps a secondary plate was added. Two secondary rivet holes are further evidence for repair. Width 32.5mm. Extant length 37.5mm. 14th century.
