A worn copper-alloy Rose and Orb jetton of uncertain Nuremberg moneyer. The jetton finds no close parallel in Mitchiner (1988), and the use of the initials E and H on the obverse legend might indicate it is a joint issue of Hanns Krauwinckel II and Egidius Krauwinckel similar to examples published by Mitchiner (1988: pp. 434) and dating to c.1586-1613 AD. Obverse: *E.H.KRAVW[]EL..[L?]GO[]G[]IN[]D, Three crowns and three lis arranged centrifugally around a central rose Reverse: *RECHEN.PFENING.[ZV].NVRNBE, Imperial orb surmounted by a cross pattee within an ornate tressure.
