A mesolithic flint blade fragment dating to the period c.10000 - 4001 BC. The blade is broadly triangular in section. The distal end shows evidence of an old break. The proximal end shows a bulb of percussion with several ripples visible on the ventral surface. The dorsal surface exhibits a single longitudinal ridge. There are a few small spots of iron staining. The blade is 36.1mm in length, 30.25mm wide, 12.15mm thick and weighs 13.16 grams.
